*I accept Aetna insurance.* Every insurance plan is different so cost per sessions vary and I always recommend confirming with Aetna that I am in-network with your plan. I have reserved two sliding scale spots which are currently full.

I also provide Superbills for out-of-network benefits. The prices listed are for those paying out-of-pocket. See the section at the bottom of this page “Why Choose Private Pay or Out-of-Network,” to explore if this might be a good option for you.

Services & Fees

  • Consultation Phone Call, 15 minutes, Free

Research shows that the relationship between a therapist and client is the most important factor in successful therapy. Before scheduling a session, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so that we can determine if we’d be a good fit. This is an opportunity for us to explore what you’d like to work on in therapy and for you to ask me any questions you may have.

  • Virtual Intake Session, 60 minutes, $160

All new clients start with a 60-minute intake session where we continue to explore what has brought you to therapy, gather information about your history, and start to create treatment goals.

  • Virtual Individual Therapy, 45 minutes, $150

After an intake session, individual therapy will focus on reaching your treatment goals by building awareness of your current patterns (thoughts, feelings, and behaviors) and how they developed, as well as exploring healthier and more adaptive ways of interacting with yourself and the world.

  • Good Faith Estimate

Clients not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges during treatment. Therapy length is different for every client and we will collaborate throughout your treatment to determine how many sessions you may need to to receive the greatest benefit based on your presenting concerns.

Why Choose Private Pay or Out-of-Network?

  • Complete Privacy & Confidentiality: When you use health insurance, insurance companies require a formal mental health diagnosis that becomes a permanent part of your medical record. They can also audit our session notes to review the intimate details of your life. Private pay keeps your information entirely between us.

  • You Control Your Care: Insurance companies often dictate how many sessions you are allowed, how long they can be, and what type of therapy we can use. Paying out-of-pocket means your treatment plan is dictated solely by what you need, not what a corporate entity approves.

  • No Mandatory Labels: You shouldn't have to be labeled with a mental health disorder just to seek personal growth, navigate a difficult life transition, or work through relationship challenges. Private pay allows us to focus on your well-being without forcing a diagnosis.

  • Access to the Right Fit: Connecting with your therapist and having access to the right treatment for you is essential to your experience and growth. Private pay allows you access to a greater pool of therapists so that you can find one that will have the skills, expertise, and personality that best meet your needs.

By operating outside of the restrictions of insurance networks, we are completely free to determine the pace, frequency, and focus of your therapy. This allows us to focus entirely on your healing and growth on your own terms.

*If your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a monthly statement (a Superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement. However, a diagnosis is generally required in this case.
